Michael Glickstein, President and Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Glickstein is the President and Chief Investment Officer of G Asset Management, LLC, a value-oriented opportunistic investment firm.
Prior to founding G Asset Management, Mr. Glickstein’s investment experience included a research position at Pequot Capital Management. At Pequot, he was trained as a generalist value investor under a firm principal who also acted as a Co-Portfolio Manager of a distressed mortgage fund. Before Pequot, Mr. Glickstein was Vice President, Director of Research at Mercer Partners, a global long-short equity hedge fund. Previously, Mr. Glickstein was a research analyst at Goldman Sachs, as a member of the Industrials Group in the Global Investment Research Division.
Mr. Glickstein is a frequent speaker on the topics of value investing, real estate, and the capital cycle investment framework and has presented at Columbia Business School (Security Analysis Course), the NYU Stern School of Business and Skidmore College. In addition, his views and research have been cited in various media outlets, including the Financial Times (Jan. 2009), Barron’s (July 2011), and Bloomberg (Sept. 2011).
Mr. Glickstein is a graduate of Skidmore College (B.A.), Summa Cum Laude, and the NYU Stern School of Business (M.B.A.), with a concentration in Finance. At Stern, he served as the President of the Michael Price Student Investment Fund and conducted an independent study with valuation expert Professor Aswath Damodaran on the capital cycle investing framework.
